Boat design commissioned for a friend's birthday. Kind of a much more relaxed style of drawing for me... less precise, less time spent on the computer... much more fun to do. Took me a while to realise that the messier I am, the more fun the drawing and usually the better the end result.

Composition hasn't had much thought go into it but I think it's still a nice little drawing... something to develop upon.

Well my work for Kika & Bob is in it's final stretch (the final episode!)... so I thought I'd get away from the clean lines of Illustrator and get a bit messy in photoshop. Nice to be able to do my own stuff.

One thing I've learnt with painting canvases is plan plan plan. The whole painting process feels so alien to me so here's me little photoshop mock up for the canvas for the Bad Note show at the Dragon Bar. Just a simple painting because I didn't have much time. Big thanks to Guy McKinley and my lovely Catherine for their skills on the touching up and hairdryers on paint while we panicked to get the work to the exhibition before the organiser could say "too late boys".
